Anthony, un Anglais qui a honte de ses racines italiennes, apprend que son ami Dario, mort dans des circonstances suspectes, lui lègue un vignoble en Italie. Immédiatement, il est contacté par un connaisseur de vin qui veut acheter la terre. Anthony part pour l'Italie pour voir son héritage. Il prend une chambre dans l'hôtel de la ravissante Bianca. Il ne sait quoi faire avec le terrain, qui lui semble peu rentable. Il rencontre plusieurs personnes du village, qui ont tous des intérêts particuliers vis-à-vis de ce vignoble: le vagabond aveugle, le voisin, un ancien manager… Il décide de rester jusqu'à la procession (une tradition religieuse dans le village), pour ensuite retourner en Angleterre. Mais lors de la procession, un miracle se produit dans la chapelle sur son terrain, ce qui perturbe brusquement les plans d’Anthony. Soudain, il devient dangereux de posséder un vignoble ... Un thriller belgo-italien avec un casting international, situé dans une Italie ensoleillée.

Anthony, een Engelsman die zich schaamt voor zijn Italiaanse achtergrond, verneemt dat zijn vriend Dario, gestorven in verdachte omstandigheden, hem een wijngaard in Italië achterlaat. Onmiddellijk wordt hij benaderd door een wijnkenner die het terrein wil kopen. Anthony vertrekt naar Italië om zijn erfenis te bekijken. Hij komt terecht in het hotel van de mooie Bianca. Hij weet niet wat te beginnen met het terrein, dat weinig rendabel lijkt. Hij ontmoet verschillende mensen van het dorp die elk een speciale belangstelling hebben voor de wijngaard: de blinde zwerver, de buurman, de ex-manager,… Anthony besluit te blijven tot na de processie (een religieuze traditie in het dorp) en daarna terug te keren naar Engeland. Maar dan gebeurt er een mirakel in de kapel op zijn land en dat stuurt Anthony’s plannen volledig in de war. Ineens wordt het gevaarlijk eigenaar te zijn van een wijngaard… Een Belgisch-Italiaanse thriller met een internationale cast, gesitueerd in het zonovergoten Italië.

Anthony, an Englishman who is ashamed of his Italian background, learns that his friend Dario, who died in suspicious circumstances, left him a vineyard in Italy.
